Pine Party Education Plan
We believe that every Kiwi deserves to have access to education through which they can achieve bigger things and reach their full potential. Education is known to be the gateway to escaping poverty and other socioeconomic problems. Pine Party believes that we should be proving quality education to all New Zealanders in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 4.
Here is what we will do to ensure quality education is accessible to all New Zealanders:
1. Fees Free for 3 years for first-time learners
2. No NCEA Fees
3. Preparing students for the real world

Here is what we will do to ensure quality education is accessible to all New Zealanders:
1. Fees Free for 3 years for first-time learners
- Higher education is very important for individuals and we believe finance should not be a barrier for achieving that.
- We will be making the first 3 years of higher studies which includes but is not limited to trades courses and university degrees completely free.
2. No NCEA Fees
- We believe all students should be able to sit NCEA exams to finish their high school studies without having to worry about paying for NCEA related frees.
- With this policy all NCEA students can partake in courses and exams for free
3. Preparing students for the real world
- We will introduce a new life skills course to all high school students to ensure they are being equipped for when they enter
- This course will include content related to laws, policies, introduction to taxes and their rights as individuals living in a democratic society
